We had the pleasure of being part of the “Home with a Heart” project! This project involved individuals and businesses alike coming together for a single cause. Contributing time and materials to build a beautiful, custom home where the profits will be donated to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. We donated our time to specify all of the interior and exterior finishes of this home. To be part of such an incredible gesture is beyond heartwarming and brings a whole new layer to loving what we do!
The donations will be going towards two fantastic programs. The 1 Darn Cool School at Phoenix Children’s, which is staffed by certified teachers who instruct children from Kindergarten age through 12th grade. These children can receive instruction at their bedside, in the Hospital’s classroom or even engage in live streaming to their own classrooms! The Director’s Research and Education Fund for Children’s Neurosciences supports research and education innovations at Barrow Neurological Institute under the leadership of the center’s director, P. David Adelson, MD. The funding provides an avenue for advocacy and education, and allows Dr. Adelson the flexibility and opportunity to initiate research with local, regional and national collaborators.
